Naija Flavia was born from memories of a warm kitchen in Nigeria, where the air was thick with the aroma of spices and the comforting sounds of pots bubbling on the stove. I grew up watching my mum, a true domestic goddess, create magic in the kitchen. From the sweet scent of freshly baked treats to the rich, bold flavours of classic Nigerian dishes, her food brought comfort, joy, and togetherness. That’s where my love for cooking began.​For me, Nigerian food is more than just sustenance it’s culture, it’s connection, and it’s love served on a plate.​But as I grew older, I realised something: while Nigerian cuisine is deeply loved, it’s often experienced only through family gatherings, special occasions, or in restaurants. The reason? Many traditional recipes involve long prep times, complex techniques, and a list of ingredients that can feel overwhelming. It’s not for the faint-hearted and that discourages a lot of people from trying to make these incredible dishes themselves.​I created Naija Flavia to change that. Because good food doesn’t have to take hours  but it should always taste like it did.​At Naija Flavia, our mission is simple: to make Nigerian food accessible, authentic, and easy for everyone.
